Balloons

A series of unfortunate circumstantial events have had me pretty much feeling like a total and complete piece of shit the last couple of days (ok, maybe weeks). That was until a very witty young man told me about the balloons:

Everyone carries around at least one. Small, halfway or big and full, it basically contains our desires, successes, and happiness.

Ok, let’s put the spotlight on this last one: If the bliss comprised is based on pure air or strong helium it’s your call. But keep in mind that sooner or later, it will pop. Or maybe slowly deflate. It is your choice to make if you go on everyday of your life dragging around that lifeless piece of rubber… Or just leave it right there and grab a new one.

Because there is indeed a full bag waiting for us to pick one, or for the ones who have been more fortunate, have one put right in our hands.

So thank you for opening my eyes with embraces, smooches and a full lachrymation cleanse, reminding me that I’ve taken quite a bit on starting to blow strong, inspiration-filled air into a bright, red and gold balloon.🎈
